J. Webster Hall

Associate

A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Webster graduated from Clemson University where he earned his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Communications Studies.  Webster then attended the University of South Carolina School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree.  While in law school, Webster was a recipient of the Class of 1968 Scholarship, the Irving Steinberg Award, and the Workers’ Compensation CALI Award. Throughout law school he clerked for the Senate Judiciary Committee and Senate Clerk’s Office in the South Carolina Legislature, clerked for a law firm, and was a Research Assistant for the Coleman Karesh Law Library at the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Prior to joining Bruner, Powell, Wall & Mullins, Webster clerked for The Honorable Blake A. Hewitt at the South Carolina Court of Appeals.  Following his clerkship, Webster gained valuable experience in private practice handling a range of legal issues including business litigation, personal injury, real estate matters, contractual disputes, various negligence cases, medical malpractice, and Section 1983 claims.

As an Associate Attorney at Bruner, Powell, Wall & Mullins, Webster is passionate about representing his clients, both individuals and businesses, and enjoys standing up for those who have been wronged and achieving equitable outcomes for his clients.  Webster’s practice experience includes handling Business Litigation, Construction Law, Personal Injury, Malpractice, Collections, and other areas of law.  Outside of work, Webster enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, traveling, and watching Clemson football.
