J. Keane Mossman

A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Keane graduated from Indiana University in 2013 where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Criminal Justice. After graduation, Keane relocated to Charleston, South Carolina where he worked on the pharmaceutical and medical device team for a Mt. Pleasant-based law firm.
Keane then attended the University of South Carolina School of Law where he earned his J.D. in 2018. While in law school, Keane worked as a Research Assistant, served as a Law Clerk for the State Grand Jury Division of the Office of the South Carolina Attorney General, and practiced as a Student Attorney for the Carolina Health and Medico-Legal Partnership Clinic. He also served as the President of the South Carolina Sports and Entertainment Law Society, Vice-President of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, as Ambassador to SBA Presidents and ABA Representatives of the ABA Law Student Division Fourth Circuit and was the recipient of the Stanley H. Kohn Memorial Scholarship.
Prior to joining Bruner Powell, Keane served as Associate General Counsel for a health care organization based out of Columbia, South Carolina with clinics and pharmacies across the state. There, he worked on several complex state and federal health care regulatory issues, litigation, compliance, and oversaw contracts for the organization. Keane now puts that experience to use representing healthcare clients in his work at Bruner Powell.
